Magnesite Recovery plant 

       Magnesite is a carbonate mineral. FTL Machinery mainly uses direct flotation and reverse flotation processes for the beneficiation of magnesite.  The reverse flotation process is suitable for high-grade ores with less calcium and iron (Fe). For low-grade ores,FTL Machinery combines these two methods. The reverse flotation process removes silicon containing materials, while the direct flotation process removes materials containing calcium and iron (Fe).

  
Introduction of  Magnesite Flotation Processing method
 
Magnesite flotation process - crushing and grinding process Crushing: The raw ore (less than 200mm) is crushed to a size of 10~0mm through a two-stage closed-loop process including a jaw crusher and a vibrating screen. Grinding: The crushed ore is ground in a closed circuit to -200mm 70%, and then enters the flotation process;
Magnesite flotation process - separation stage
At this stage, the main equipment includes flotation machines, agitation tanks, and thickeners. The following two methods are the magnesite flotation processes designed by FTL Machinery.
High grade magnesite flotation process Send the ground ore into the mixing tank and mix it with the flotation agent. Reverse flotation will yield concentrate slurry. Then the slurry will be transported to the thickener to reduce moisture.
Low grade magnesite flotation process
Only using reverse flotation technology cannot remove impurities from the raw ore. Therefore, for low-grade magnesite, FTL Machinery usually combines two methods, namely reverse flotation process (one roughing - one cleaning) and direct flotation process (one roughing - one cleaning). Separate some tailings during the reverse flotation process, and directly flotation to obtain concentrate and intermediate products.

Flotation beneficiation is a sorting method based on different physical and chemical properties of the mineral particles. Flotation is widely used in fine-grained disseminated metallic minerals, nonmetallic minerals, chemicals and other mineral sorting.

Main process of flotation production line:
1. Ore crushing
2. The crushed material was sent to ball mill for grinding.
3. Classified . Granule with unsuitable size will be sent back to the ball mill , while suitable ones will be sent to the flotation system.
4. Some medicament agent will be added to separate target material from others.
5. After going through the flotation system with coarse separating, sweeping separating, fine separating, they will be concentrated and filter pressed, and then get the final products
6.The whole process is finished.
