The flotation process of copper nickel ore | When flotation copper nickel sulfide ore, collectors and frothers for flotation copper sulfide minerals are often used. A basic principle for determining the flotation process is to rather allow copper to enter the nickel concentrate than to avoid nickel entering the copper concentrate as much as possible. Because nickel in copper concentrate is lost significantly during the smelting process, while copper in nickel concentrate can be fully recovered. When the copper content in the ore is much higher than the nickel content, copper can be selected as a separate concentrate. The advantage of this process is that it can directly obtain copper concentrate with lower nickel content. |
