Galena | Galena is the most important lead sulfide mineral. Galena from different origins exhibits significant differences in floatability due to the types, quantities, and assigned states of impurities they contain, as well as the presence of lattice defects. When galena contains silver, bismuth, or copper, its floatability will increase; When containing zinc, manganese, or antimony, its floatability will decrease. The different impurities contained in galena can also result in varying effects of inhibitors on it. |
Cerussite | White lead ore is the most important lead oxide mineral, which is generally sulfided with Na2S and then flotation is carried out using high-grade yellow medicine as a collector. The most suitable pH value for sulfidation is 9.5. When sulfurizing, if the amount of sodium sulfide used is too large, resulting in a high pH value, sodium hydrosulfide can be used as the sulfurizing agent.
