Gold Desorption Electrolysis Equipment is an important equipment in the modern mining refining process, mainly used in the process of extracting gold from gold ore. This equipment is usually used in the process of gold and silver smelting, especially after the step of activated carbon adsorbing gold, through the electrolysis and chemical desorption process, the gold is successfully desorbed from the carbon surface.
Working principle of Gold Desorption Electrolysis Equipment
The core working principle of the gold desorption electrolytic equipment is to desorb gold from the carbon surface into the solution by using the current and the chemical composition in the solution under high temperature and high pressure environment through electrolytic reduction reaction. The working process of the equipment is usually divided into the following stages:
Adsorption stage: During the beneficiation process of gold ore, gold will be adsorbed onto the surface of activated carbon.
Desorption stage: When gold is adsorbed onto carbon, the gold desorption electrolytic equipment desorbs gold from the carbon surface into the solution through electrolytic reaction, usually using sodium cyanide solution or other solvents to promote the desorption reaction.
Electrolysis stage: The desorbed gold solution is further electrolytically deposited through the electrolytic cell to finally obtain pure gold.
