The specific gravity of antimony ore is much higher than that of vein ore. The separation method by gravity separation has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving, and environmental protection. It can also enrich low-grade ores in advance, and the antimony ore after gravity separation can be purified by flotation. Therefore, our factory FTL machinery usually adopts a combined process of gravity separation and flotation for antimony ore beneficiation.
Our factory's gravity separation flotation combined process is basically applicable to all types of antimony ore.
A brief introduction of FTL gravity and flotation separation combined process
1..Preparation before selection
Hand selected raw ore undergoes coarse and fine crushing to control the particle size below 30mm, and is classified into three particle sizes: 8-30mm, 2-8mm, and 0-2mm.
2..Gravity selecting
After classification, the three particle sizes of ore are respectively fed into our AM30, LTA1010/2, and sawtooth wave jigs for further selection. The resulting concentrate is mixed and sent to the concentrate selection area.
3..flotation separating
After the reselection process, a flotation process is set up to grind, grade, stir, and float the reselection tailings. The flotation process adopts a one coarse, three fine, and two sweep process. High grade antimony flotation concentrate is obtained through flotation. The flotation tailings are subjected to shaking table reselection to recover fine-grained antimony oxide, resulting in high-grade antimony concentrate and tailings.
4..Hand selection
For block shaped rich ores with extremely coarse embedding particle size, our factory has added a manual selection process in the crushing process. The block shaped rich ores are manually selected, and the manually selected tailings enter the re-election process again.
Introduction of flotation beneficiation plant
Flotation beneficiation is a sorting method based on different physical and chemical properties of the mineral particles. Flotation is widely used in fine-grained disseminated metallic minerals, nonmetallic minerals, chemicals and other mineral sorting.
Main process of flotation production line:
1. Ore crushing
2. The crushed material was sent to ball mill for grinding.
3. Classified . Granule with unsuitable size will be sent back to the ball mill , while suitable ones will be sent to the flotation system.
4. Some medicament agent will be added to separate target material from others.
5. After going through the flotation system with coarse separating, sweeping separating, fine separating, they will be concentrated and filter pressed, and then get the final products
6.The whole process is finished.
